Gene Mock is a recent transplant from Virginia who combines his 40
years of experience as a business owner with his love of real
estate, both historic and equestrian properties. He has hands on
experience in land investment and development of an equestrian
community in the Aiken area. He is a member of the SPCA and the
Aiken Driving Club.
Gene has always been
interested in real estate. He started investing in real estate on
his 21st birthday with the purchase of his first home. A few years
ago Gene and his wife, Monica, began investing in Aiken real estate.
The first purchase was a large tract of land that grew into the
equestrian community of Windsor Trace, located a few miles southeast
of Aiken in Windsor.
Gene has also been
involved in new construction and renovation. He was a general
contractor and artisan for his authentic Georgian home and farm in
Waterford, Virginia, where his wife, eight horses, four dogs and
barn cats live. Monica is the rider in the family. She enjoys
bringing her Irish Draught mare, Poppy, to Aiken to foxhunt and
trail ride.
